I need to raise £5,631 for the maintenance of the chair

I am 16 years old and have Quadriplegic Cerebral palsy which affects my gross and fine motor skills. I was born at 29 weeks and was diagnosed at 18 months old. I like to think I am bright, funny, articulate and intelligent. I am currently completing  my A-levels at William Farr School in Welton.

Three years ago I was in a wheelchair, however I could walk short distances. I was getting hip pain and the consultant stated I required hip surgery and if I didn't have the surgery my hips would come out of the socket and would be in intense pain and would require surgery however this surgery would stop me from walking and I will be wheelchair bound for life.

As you can imagine this was not an  easy decision for me and my mother but we went for the surgery. The surgery went well, however I was in intense pain and didn't sleep for months. I found this a difficult and stressful time as I could no longer walk. I have not been able to stand nor walk now since the surgery.  To this day I cannot stand or walk.  I require a high level of adult support now to be able to access the environment as the environment has restrictions for me while being permanently restricted to an electric wheelchair.

This is my new wheelchair. I can now put the star on the Christmas tree... Im sooo Happy :)

I am a board member of Whizz Kidz which is a charity in London  to help other children with disabilities to gain wheelchair skills, work experience and to raise funds for sports wheelchairs. However Whizz Kidz cannot  help me as they are not allowed to support Lincoln now due to the NHS restrictions on electric wheelchairs only. They can help provide sports wheelchairs, wheelchair training and work experience in Lincolnshire

I now have my wheelchair from very kind donations and from a amzing lady who has brought the wheelchair.

The F5 Corpus VS  has given me greater independence and i now can feed my fish and reach things from the shelves without having to ask anyone. This has given me confidence,  self-worth and also improving my well-being.

The chair itself costs £24,000 and with the Insurance, extended warranty and servicing for 10 years will cost  £15,550. The chair will last me 10 years.

I now need to raise £5,631

Please help me in any way.
